Cleveden Drive, Glasgow West End | Alterations
Our client purchased this beautiful Victorian property in Glasgow’s West End and wanted to carry out some alterations to make the property better suited to their young family’s needs. Being within a conservation area, we had to design something that was sympathetic to the character of the house, whilst still modernizing the space to be more conducive to today’s family life.
As such, we opened up the rear of the property combining three rooms to create one large, bright and open kitchen, dining and family area with new double doors into the main entrance hall. Within the family area, we introduced new feature sliding doors opening out onto a new raised timber deck area, perfectly placed to capture the morning sunshine.
Elsewhere, we also removed the old Victorian maid’s annex above the old utility space to create a much brighter and more usable utility and separate boot room, complete with dog wash station. Our clients also carried out extensive redecoration throughout the property creating a striking and welcoming family home.
